The club was invited to put on a display of vintage tractors and implements by the organisers of the South Downs Show, which is held at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park each year.

This weekend show attracted a high-volume people with a mixture of activities, trade stands, country crafts, local clubs and organisations combining in a good family day out.

This gave the club and its members who attended a good opportunity to show off their prize possessions and talk to the passing admiring public.

Which in turn promoted the club and the next event in our calendar, which was ‘’Tracks Across the Field’’ at the following weekend. We had many people interested, who wished to come along.

Over the weekend, the local Petersfield radio station ‘’Shine Radio’’ was interviewing the public and all traders and stall holders, including our club. They were invited to ‘’Tracks Across the Field’’ to promote the event and attend, which they did promoting the event over the week and interviewing many of our public visitors who attended.
